Glacier National Park is a U.S. National Park Service unit in MT (NPS unit code GLAC), straddling the Continental Divide along the U.S.-Canada border and built around the Going-to-the-Sun Road traverse over Logan Pass. The park recorded 3,136,557 recreation visits in 2025 and runs a 5-year mean of 3,053,808 annual visits. The busiest month is July and the quietest is February; winter visits run at roughly 2% of July's peak because Going-to-the-Sun, Many Glacier, and Two Medicine close to vehicles for most of the year.
