Visiting from outside the U.S.?
Arches charges the standard entrance fee. The $100 nonresident supplement applies at selected other parks. The $250 nonresident annual pass is worth comparing for a wider trip.
Where to buy your pass
Use a credit or debit card at the entrance station, or buy online. Annual and lifetime passholders must also show valid photo ID.
At the entrance
Credit or debit cards only. Buy a standard entrance pass at the Arches Entrance Station.
On your phone
Buy through Recreation.gov. A digital America the Beautiful pass can be saved to your phone and used immediately.
By mail
Allow at least three weeks for a physical America the Beautiful pass from USGS. An order receipt cannot replace the pass.
Passholder rules and other purchase locations
America the Beautiful passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. NPS also lists the Moab Information Center as a pass seller. The four-park annual pass is sold at the Arches, Island in the Sky and Needles entrance stations, and the Hovenweep and Natural Bridges visitor centers.
Camping and Fiery Furnace cost extra
Entrance passes cover admission. Budget separately for campsites and Fiery Furnace permits, and check booking rules for your dates.

Canyon Wren group sites cost $75 to $160 per night for groups of 11 to 35. Juniper group sites cost $100 to $250 per night for groups of 11 to 55. Choose the correct group size on the booking page.
Organized groups and fee waivers
Non-commercial group fees depend on the vehicle’s passenger capacity. NPS lists overlapping bands at 25 seats; confirm that capacity with the park before paying.

Commercial tours, academic waivers and group passes
Road-based commercial tours, guided day hikes and photography instruction require a signed commercial use authorization. Accredited academic institutions may apply for an entrance fee waiver. Annual and lifetime passes may cover immediate family or up to four group members, depending on the pass.

Yes. The private-vehicle fee covers one non-commercial vehicle seating 15 or fewer and all its occupants.
Does Arches charge the extra nonresident fee?
No. Arches is not on the NPS list of parks charging the $100 nonresident supplement.
Does an entrance pass cover Fiery Furnace hikes?
No. A self-guided permit or ranger-led hike has a separate charge. Children under five are not permitted.
